The first extra-large classic Cooker from the Austrian studio of woodcaver Maximilian Neukufler is as beautiful as it is functional. Sculpted by hand using only analog tools and traditional methods, Max shapes a large, asymmetrical Cooker head, longer on the right than the left, from walnut wood boasting natural grain and a range of shades. Reminders of the heirloom object’s hand-hewn origins are visible throughout, with each carving knife’s mark telling a part of the story. To cook, mix, and serve, the utensil is finished with mineral oil and the handle is tinted with acrylic in Maximilian’s well-loved wabi-sabi style.
