For the kitchen and dining room, simply elegant handcrafted rice paddles. One morning a sudden moment of inspiration led to the design of these beautiful kitchen tools. In the artist’s own words, “The fabrication was…more akin to a biological event than a conscious making of art.” And the Sculpted Steel Rice Paddles were born. Both the small and large variations are cold forged from 12 gauge stainless steel in Stephen Fitz-Gerald’s Northern California one-man shop. The large paddle measures 10.5″ long with a 3.25″-wide symmetrical head, while the small measures 9.5″ long with a 2.5″ wide asymmetrical head.
