Alex Pole’s new Saut Skillet, available as an 11″ model with long handle plus loop helper handle, or an 8″ model with two loop handles, is designed for sauting vegetables and proteins, shallow frying, and braising. The flat base and relatively high carbon steel walls are ideal for even heating and great heat retention. Slow cooking and recipes with more volume or liquid can take advantage of the included lid and the pan’s ability to be used on all cooking surfaces, from electric, gas, induction, and glass stove tops, to the oven, and outside over the open flame. Pre-seasoned with rapeseed oil, the carbon steel surfaces are naturally non-stick and perform better and better with more use. The hand-forged stainless steel handles are secured by oversized, solid copper rivets.

Alex includes a 100-year guarantee with every piece of cookware. Handmade one at a time, your pan may not match the photo exactly.
